Between both mornings the following highly-illustrated lectures will be given in English (with German moderation):
- Facial Bones & Sinus Anatomy – A refresher
- Paranasal Sinuses – The Work-Up
- Paranasal Sinuses – Surgical Access
- Working up Facial Wounds & Fractures (incl. X-ray & Ultrasound)

- Nasofrontal Suture Periostitis – An increasingly common Complication
Open and frank discussions are encouraged and the speakers will share their personal experiences, successes and failures, with attendees.
In the afternoons, 7 hours of practical sessions will give attendees plenty of opportunity to put theory into practice on cadaver specimens and to ask questions in true small groups (2 attendees per specimen), all under the supervision of specialists. The following practical sessions will be covered during the course:

Tim qualified from the University of Edinburgh in 2005. After a period in general practice, he joined Rossdales in early 2007, working as an orthopaedic assistant in the Diagnostic Centre. He then went on to complete an 18-month internship at the Hospital and Diagnostic Centre, before embarking on a surgical residency at the University of Edinburgh, co-supervised by Rossdales. Tim re-joined the practice in 2014, and prior to working full time in the hospital team he spent time worked in our Hertfordshire practice and then as part of our Newmarket horses in training team.
In 2013 Tim was awarded an MSc with Distinction from the University of Edinburgh for his work on post-operative finding in horses undergoing laryngoplasty (tie-back) for recurrent laryngeal neuropathy (laryngeal hemiplegia). In 2015 he attained the RCVS Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice and became a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Surgeons (EVCS). He was awarded RCVS Specialist status in 2016 and joined the partnership at Rossdales in April 2017. Tim became a Diplomate of the European Veterinary Dental College (EVDC) in 2018.
Tim works within the hospital surgical team where, as well as emergency admissions, he sees many elective surgical cases. Tim has a particular interest in soft tissue surgery, and sees many of the referred upper airway cases and oversees the practices overground endoscopy service. He has presented and published a number of award winning research studies in the fields of upper airway surgery and diagnostics, and is currently involved in a number of multi-centre research projects in this field.
During his surgical training Tim also developed his skills in equine dental surgery and sees many of the referral dental cases and sinus cases in the hospital. He is able to offer a complete specialist-level service in dental surgery, and regularly lectures and teaches on dental and sinus courses in the UK, Europe, Scandinavia and the USA.
More InfoMatthias Jehle earned his veterinary degree at the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna in 2017.
