Matthias Jehle earned his veterinary degree at the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna in 2017. After graduating, he spent three years as an assistant veterinarian at the university’s equine clinic. In 2020 he was appointed head of the horse dental unit at the same institution, a role he held until 2022. Since December 2022, Matthias has been working at the equine dental station in Gessertshausen as senior veterinarian under Timo Zwick.

His clinical practice focuses on equine dentistry and maxillofacial surgery. He performs routine and complex dental procedures, as well as sinus surgeries and cranio maxillofacial surgeries (fracture repair, soft tissue surgery). He also treats dental issues in New World camelids and small ruminants.

In addition to his clinical duties, Matthias tutors and lectures in several dental courses.
