Dr. Stanley Kim is an Australian-trained veterinary surgeon and a board-certified Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (Small Animal). He holds ACVS Founding Fellow distinctions in both Minimally Invasive Surgery (Small Animal Orthopaedics) and Joint Replacement Surgery—recognitions awarded to specialists with advanced expertise and leadership in their fields.  Dr. Kim earned his Bachelor of Veterinary Science with First Class Honours from the University of Sydney before completing an internship at the Ontario Veterinary College and a surgical residency at the University of Florida. He went on to complete a Master of Science at the University of Florida, where he later built a distinguished academic career.

From 2010 to 2025, Dr. Kim served on the faculty of the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, progressing from Clinical Lecturer to Assistant, Associate, and ultimately Full Professor of Small Animal Surgery. During his tenure, he contributed extensively to orthopaedic surgical innovation, resident training, and clinical excellence.  In 2025, Dr. Kim founded the Animal Orthopaedic Clinic of Florida in Gainesville, where he now serves as Founder and Head Clinician. His clinical interests include minimally invasive orthopaedic procedures, arthroscopy, and joint replacement surgery, with a focus on improving long-term outcomes for companion animals.  Dr. Kim is a permanent U.S. resident and an active member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Veterinary Surgeons, the Veterinary Orthopaedic Society, the American Association of Veterinary Clinicians, and multiple international veterinary regulatory bodies.
