Siggi graduated from The University of Veterinary Medicine in Hannover, Germany in 1999 and subsequently completed an internship in equine reproduction at The State Stud in Celle in Lower Saxonia.  Siggi joined the working team at Bjerke Equine Hospital in Oslo in 2009 following five years working at the ATG’s  Equine Hospital in Skara, Sweden where he qualified as an equine specialist in 2009.  He holds a RCVS certificate in veterinary anaesthesia and intensive care (2004) and a Diploma of Equine Science from The University of Edinburgh (2011). Siggi has extensive experience in first opinion practice in Iceland, Norway, Sweden and Germany and spent a year at The Royal Veterinary College in London.  Siggi’s clinical strengths and interests lie in equine orthopedics, imaging and surgery.  Equitation and performance related problems encompass his working field.  Siggi has published research and clinical data within the field of equine anaesthesia and undertaken teaching responsibilities at The Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences.  He has given several presentations at national and international meetings and conferences.
