Ruth qualified from University College Dublin in 2006. Following graduation, she spent three years working in general practice in Ireland. In 2009, Ruth moved to Australia where she spent a season working in an equine practice. On returning to Ireland in 2010, she performed an Equine Clinical Internship at University College Dublin and, following its completion, gained a position in the Large Animal Surgery Residency programme at the University. Ruth is currently in the final year of the residency programme.
