Rebekah graduated with Honours from the University of Glasgow in 2011 and then spent two years working in mixed practice. She then returned to the University of Glasgow in 2013 as a Horserace Betting Levy Board (HBLB) Research Scholar investigating aetiopathogenesis of equine periodontal disease before joining the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies to begin a four year residency in equine dentistry. 

Her main research interests are equine oral microbiology and immunology and equine periodontal disease.
