Dr. Hamor was a Clinical Professor at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine’s Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences from April 2016 through June of 2023. Prior to that, he was a Clinical Professor and Ophthalmology Section Head at the University of Illinois, where he had been a faculty member since 1993. While at UF, Dr. Hamor served as Ophthalmology Service Chief and as a Medical Director in the UF Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Hamor currently provides relief and locum services at veterinary schools and private practices across the United States.

Dr. Hamor's research interests are generally clinical and collaborative. Topics are varied and include case reports, unique clinical treatments and clinical drug effects on ocular tissues in both small and large animals.
