Paul Lunn

Professor Lunn has a prestigious veterinary background, and was Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine at North Carolina State University for nine years. His previous roles include Head of Department of Clinical Sciences for the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at Colorado State University and Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs and Director of the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Professor Lunn is currently President of the American Association of Veterinary Medical Colleges and will step down from this role when he takes up his appointment at Liverpool.

For Professor Lunn, this will be a return to the University of Liverpool. Paul graduated from the University in 1982 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Honours) degree before going on to study for a PhD at Cambridge University.
