Mette Uldahl graduated from the Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University in Copenhagen in 2001 and holds certification in Equine Diseases, alongside international certification in chiropractic care (IVCA). Since 2004, she has been a partner at Vejle Equine Practice, where her clinical work focuses on equine orthopaedics and biomechanics, with particular emphasis on the diagnosis and prevention of traumatic injuries and wear in sport horses. She has a strong interest in the systematic training and development of the equine athlete, as well as extensive experience in pre-purchase examinations across a range of disciplines, including dressage, showjumping, eventing, and Icelandic horses.

In addition to her clinical work, Mette serves as a veterinary consultant to the Danish Equestrian Federation and is the National Head Veterinarian for the FEI in Denmark. She is actively involved at a European level as President of FEEVA and Chair of the FEEVA European PPE Committee, contributing to the advancement of standards and best practices within the profession.

She is also a member of the Danish Council for Equine Hoofcare & Shoeing. Mette has been appointed as an expert adviser to the District Court in Denmark, reflecting her recognised expertise within the field.
