Dr. Cambournac graduated from the Veterinary School of Lyon in 2012, and pursues an internship the following year. After 1 year of general private practice, and complementary medical degrees, he joined the emergency and critical care team at the university of Lyon, first as assistant lecturer, and then as ECVECC resident. In addition to the ECVECC specialist diploma, he passed one University diploma in resuscitation and critical care, one in mechanical ventilation and the Certificate of Veterinary hemodialysis from UC Davis. Now, he currently works as head of the Emergency and Intensive Care Unit and associate partners of the biggest French private veterinary hospital in Paris suburban, Fregis.
Actively involved in many ECC societies, one of his main fields of interest is emergency ultrasound, in which he as published. Recently, with other passionate colleagues, he took part in the creation and promotion of the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Ultrasound (VECCUS) groups of interest.
