Dr. Ström studied in Sweden and received her veterinary degree in 2004. Her PhD degree in Equine Ophthalmology was obtained at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) in 2019, and her residency in comparative ophthalmology was performed during 2018-2021. Dr Ström is currently working as an assistant professor in comparative ophthalmology at SLU. She teaches classes and is a clinical instructor in ophthalmology, and conducts research mainly in the area of visual sciences and equine ophthalmology.
