Lars qualified from the Royal Veterinary College, London in 1994. After graduating, he returned to Norway and worked for five years in a mixed practice focusing on the equine side, before joining the Bjerke Animal Hospital in 1999. Lars attained his Certificate in Equine Surgery (soft tissue) in 2003 and, in 2007, qualified as a Norwegian specialist in equine diseases. Since 2008 he has been Head of Clinic at Rikstotoklinikken Bjerke and has worked extensively on the development of clinic operations and outpatient practice. Lars main interests are surgery (especially minimal invasive techniques) and lameness investigations.
