Dr. Visser is a native of Grand Rapids, Michigan and obtained a BS (2007) and combined DVM/MS (2010) from Michigan State University. He then completed a small animal rotating internship at North Carolina State University in 2011. His combined cardiology residency/MS was completed at The Ohio State University in 2014. He has since become an Assistant Professor of Cardiology at the University of California, Davis. Dr. Visser's research interest includes the study of noninvasive assessment of cardiac structure and function with an emphasis on assessment of right ventricular function.
