Jon qualified from the Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University, Denmark in 2002 and went on to perform an Internship at Willesley Equine Clinic, UK. He received his certificate in equine diseases in 2008. Following his internship, Jon worked as an equine surgeon in Ansager Equine Hospital in Denmark and became a partner of the hospital in 2006. He is head of the MRI at Ansager Equine Hospital and his main caseload is orthopaedic diagnostics/therapeutics and surgery with the majority being referral cases. Jon is working as a consultant for breeding associations, law cases and an insurance company in Denmark. He has published several clinical articles in peer-reviewed veterinary journals.
