Jenny Sones graduated from Louisiana State University with her Bachelor's degree in 2004 and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. She was a practicing veterinarian at Delta Equine Center before pursuing a PhD in reproductive genomics, postdoctoral fellowship in equine reproductive immunology, and theriogenology residency training at Cornell University. Dr. Sones became a Diplomate of the American College of Theriogenologists in 2016. She was a faculty member at Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine for eight years prior to joining the Colorado State University Equine Reproduction Laboratory in 2023 as an Associate Professor of Equine Reproduction.
