Frederik Pille completed his studies in Veterinary Medicine in 1997 at the University of Gent. In 2005 he was awarded a PhD in the field of equine joint infections. In 2007, he became a surgical specialist recognised throughout Europe (diplomate, ecvs). Frederik Pille is now a senior lecturer and oversees the diagnoses of lameness in horses.
