Fiona Bloom qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 2007 and then worked in the NHS acute sector continuing from there into respiratory and complex care. She completed her MSc in Veterinary Physiotherapy in 2011, which qualified her as a Cat A ACPAT Veterinary Physiotherapist.

Fiona then worked privately developing her veterinary physiotherapy work, predominantly competition horses and dogs as well as postoperative cases and combined this with treating owners and horse riders to optimise competitive performance. Fiona joined Fitzpatrick Referrals inpatient physiotherapy team in 2017 to combine her strengths in complex care and rehab.

Outside of work, Fiona is a keen endurance rider, having represented Great Britain as a competitor, she is now chef d’equipe of the international team.
