Emma graduated from the University of Sydney in 2017 and stayed on to complete an equine internship at Camden Equine Centre, The University of Sydney Veterinary Teaching Hospital. She then spent a year in private ambulatory practice, before returning to the University of Sydney to complete a residency in Equine Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation. She now works as an equine sports medicine veterinarian at Randwick Equine Centre. During her residency she followed her passion for animal welfare, publishing a survey on horse rugging and completing her master’s thesis in equine thermoregulation and rugging practices. She is also heavily involved as a veterinarian for FEI events including eventing, dressage, showjumping and endurance.
