Dr. Ashton Broman was born and raised in California. She discovered her love of horses at an early age and has been an avid horseback rider throughout her life. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from the University of California, Davis in 2011, followed by veterinary school at Colorado State University, graduating in 2018. After graduation she completed two years as an ambulatory intern at Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital in Lexington, KY. She is currently an associate at Rood and Riddle and pursuing a residency for equine dentistry and oral surgery through the American Veterinary Dental College. Dr. Broman is published in both the areas of reproduction and dentistry and has lectured at both local and international scientific meetings.

Dr. Broman lives on a farm in Paris, KY and enjoys spending time with her four dogs out on the farm. When away from work she enjoys fly fishing, kayaking, and horseback riding.
