Anna Cronin

Anna graduated from the University of Copenhagen in 2012 following five months rotating through the various clinical disciplines of the University of Vienna. Directly after her graduation she worked for a year at a busy small animal practice in Bavaria, followed by 16 months as a Junior Staff Clinician at the University Hospital for Companion Animals in Copenhagen. Anna moved to Cambridge in July 2015, to undertake a one-year rotating internship at the Queen’s Veterinary School Hospital and in November 2015 she obtained a General Practitioners Certificate in Small Animal Surgery. Anna was subsequently appointed as a Senior Clinical Training Scholar in Small Animal Surgery in July 2016.

Clinical and research interests:
Although Anna is interested in all aspects of small animal surgery, she has a special interest in reconstructive and minimally invasive surgery, and novel techniques such as interventional radiology. Currently Anna is working on two research project; one comparing techniques for lung lobectomy in dogs, funded by the ECVS. The other on ultrasonography as a tool to assess the larynx in brachycephalic breed dogs.
