André qualified from the University of Berlin, Germany in 1996. After graduation he completed internships in equine clinics in Germany, USA and Switzerland.
In 1996 he start his own ambulatory praxis in Mecklenburg/Germany and developed it into a regional equine clinic, Tierlinik Alt-Sammit. Since 2001, the clinic is a regional referral equine hospital in North East Germany. André works as a staff surgeon with focus on orthopaedic diagnostic and surgery.
