Agustin is originally from Argentina where he did his DVM and initial training in equine reproduction in Criollo and Polo Pony horses. He then moved to Qatar to expand an equine commercial embryo transfer private project in Arabian show horses. He pursued his post-graduate studies at Washington State University (USA), completing a Master of Science and a comparative Theriogenology Residency Training Program under the mentoring of Dr. Ahmed Tibary.

Agustin is a member of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Surgeons (Animal Reproduction) and a Diplomate of the American College of Theriogenology. He moved to Australia in 2020 to work at the Newcastle Equine Centre (NEC) as an equine reproduction specialist, where he has developed a new equine reproduction clinic in Luskintyre (Newcastle Equine Rehabilitation and Reproduction Center). He offers expertise in all areas of equine reproduction with a special interest in assisted reproduction and mare/stallion infertility/subfertility.
