CONTENT DESCRIPTION
Following a lively discussion on Equine Periocular Sarcoids & Squamous Cell Carcinoma, we plan to further discuss this topic by having an exchange on Ocular Melanoma and less common periocular and intraocular neoplasms in horses. The multidisciplinary panel of world-renown equine ophthalmologists and an internist with a special interest in neoplasia will lead off with a discussion of diagnostic procedures and clinical manifestations associated with these masses. The discussion will then center around known effective medical and surgical therapies for these neoplasms. The moderator will highlight and address differences of opinion among the panelists and will be aiming for an interactive exchange with the audience.
