CONTENT DESCRIPTION

Veterinary care of the neonatal foal continues to progress and advance as clinicians worldwide gain more knowledge and insight regarding neonatal diseases and therapeutics.  An international panel of globally recognised internists with a special interest in neonatology will discuss their approaches to the assessment and general treatment principles of respiratory disorders, seizures, and cardiovascular support in the neonatal foal.  This interactive panel discussion will cover the following broad subjects, providing attendees with plenty of opportunity to ask questions or share their own experience:

  • Assessment of the respiratory, central nervous, and cardiovascular system ranging from basics of physical examination to advanced diagnostic techniques
  • Discussion on treatment options to support the respiratory, central nervous, and cardiovascular system ranging from basic to advanced therapeutics
  • Discussion of common disorders that affect these body systems

Note: This Panel Discussion will focus on complimentary topics to the  Discussion on "Foal Diarrhoea & Pneumonia – How to Optimise Diagnosis & Treatment"
