CONTENT DESCRIPTION

As the oldest described infectious disease in veterinary medicine Strangles has been a global problem in the horse industry for centuries. Recent advances have been made in the treatment plans for facilities with endemic diseases that include rapid identification, new therapies, and new strategies to prevent the spread of the bacteria (incl. vaccination). Adding these new tools can help turn a political problem for your clients into a successful intervention.

An international panel of leading strangles experts will shed a global light on and discuss how equine veterinarians worldwide can best treat, control and prevent Strep equi infections in horses, whilst sharing many useful practical tips & tricks. Come prepared with your questions and own experiences and share them with the panel and other attending veterinarians.

* Participants are encouraged to send in questions to info@vetpd.com prior to the panel discussion. There will also be the opportunity to raise questions during the discussion.
