Dr. Parks received his Vet MB from the University of Cambridge in 1981. Dr. Parks is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons and received his certificate in Veterinary Radiology from the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in 1982. He currently serves as Professor of large animal surgery at the University of Georgia. Dr. Parks has made over 160 professional presentations and has peer reviewed and authored articles and book chapters. His clinical interests are large animal surgery lameness and diseases of the foot.

Andrew graduated from the University of Queensland School of Veterinary Science in Australia, His PhD studies focused on the effects of therapeutic hypothermia on the development of laminitis. After completing a large animal medicine residency at New Bolton Center, and seven years at the University of Queensland as a faculty member and clinician, Andrew again returned to New Bolton Center in 2017 to focus on laminitis research as the Dean W. Richardson Endowed Chair of Equine Disease Research. Andrew's research goal is to identify the key mechanisms that lead to different forms of laminitis in order to develop clinically applicable strategies for prevention.

Edd graduated from Cambridge University in 2005. He worked in small animal practice at the PDSA for 18 months before joining BEVC as an intern in January 2007. After completing his internship he stayed at Bell Equine as an ambulatory vet primarily covering the North West area of the practice for a further 2-3 years. In 2010 Edd undertook a 3 year specialist training program in Equine Internal Medicine in collaboration with the Royal Veterinary College and became a European Specialist in Equine Internal Medicine. Edd has strong interests in clinical research. He is currently undertaking a part time PhD in equine laminitis whilst continuing to work both in the hospital and as an ambulatory vet at Bell Equine.

Hans Castelijns lives in Tuscany, Italy and works as a farrier and veterinarian in different fields of equine podiatry which includes thoroughbreds, standardbreds, Arabians, foals and yearlings at breeding farms, showjumpers, reining horses, and trotters.  His fields of major interest are foal development, diagnosis and treatment of lameness particularly as related to the foot and preventive and therapeutic shoeing technique.  Besides his practical field work, Hans participates as speaker at farriery and veterinary conferences, laboratories and clinics and various professional training courses and teaches at the Veterinary faculty at the University of Perugia, Italy.  Hans formerly wrote a monthly farriery article for the equine publication "Cavallo Magazine", and is a contributor to the The Farriers Journal. Occasionally he works as a consultant for members of the farriery industry.
