CONTENT DESCRIPTION

Ultrasound continues to be a mainstay in the diagnosis of equine musculoskeletal injuries and despite the growing use of advanced imaging and it is often the first-line diagnostic technique employed in investigation of these injuries.  The diagnostic utility of ultrasound continues to expand with increasing quality of hardware, software and diagnostic techniques.

Join our multidisciplinary, world renowned panel of specialist clinicians as they discuss the benefits and limitations of ultrasound, how it compares to advanced imaging, ways in which it can be used to enhance the workup of lameness and poor performance and advances in techniques.  By using a case-based discussion format, the clinical relevance of these topics will be kept in the forefront. There will be plenty of opportunity for questions and contributions from attendees in this lively debate.
