CONTENT DESCRIPTION

No aspect of veterinary work at yearling sales is more likely to raise emotions and cause disputes than endoscopy of the upper airway. Judging the importance of what might be seen during a resting endoscopic examination (or video) to the future athletic potential of the young Thoroughbred can have major financial implications for clients on both sides of the fall of hammer, yet remains a highly subjective determination.

How best to obtain and assess endoscopic information, understanding the predictive limits of that information and how to navigate the complexities of communication and ethics regularly thrown up by sales endoscopy are key to survival. Nobody is better placed to unpick these topics (and more) than our distinguished panel of leading international experts in this field, who bring a great depth of experience of sales endoscopy from all corners of the globe to the discussion. This exchange will be highly interactive with attendees able to contribute and ask questions.
