ONLINE LECTURE SERIES DESCRIPTION

Neck problems are commonly encountered in horses of all ages, but especially in middle-aged and older animals, have debilitating consequences and only a limited number of treatment options exist. This lecture series covers the cervical anatomy, joint motion and how to use passive stretches to rehabilitate horses affected by neck conditions. A team consisting of a world-renowned sports medicine and rehabilitation specialist and an equine physiotherapist will be exchanging notes on how they personally approach such challenging cases, when and how they use rehabilitation modalities and what exercises they recommend by extensively discussing cases.
