Jenny qualified from Liverpool in 1985 and then went immediately to the United States to undertake an internship at the University of Pennsylvania and then a Surgical Residency at Ohio State University. Afterwards she stayed on at Ohio to undertake a clinical research post.

Jenny returned to the UK to work at a private equine hospital where she had primary responsibility for the surgical caseload in addition to doing first opinion work. During this time Jenny travelled extensively to three-day events including the Atlanta Olympics as a private veterinarian and was involved with racehorses transported worldwide.

In 1996 Jenny Set up her own specialist equine practice, which grew into Hall and Lawrence and became Lambourn Equine Vets LLP in 2009. Jenny was Team Veterinarian to the British Three Day Event Team from 1999 - 2009.

She was the Veterinary Services manager for the 2012 Olympics and is now the Chief Veterinary Officer for the SHA. Subsequent to her appointment as chief veterinary officer she stepped down from her role within the partnership but still works in association with the practice and provides support where required.

Dr. Jonathan Foreman has served as the President of the Association for Equine Sports Medicine and as the Chair of the Sports Medicine Committee of the American Association of Equine Practitioners. He graduated from the College of William and Mary (BS, Biology, 1978), the University of Georgia (DVM, 1981), and Washington State University (MS, Exercise Physiology, 1984). He completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Washington State University and became board-certified by the American College of Internal Medicine in 1986. His current position is Professor and Associate Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Illinois. Dr. Foreman served as an official veterinarian at the 1996 and 2020 Olympic Summer Games, the 2019 Tokyo Test Event, and the 2010 and 2018 World Equestrian Games. His research on thermoregulation was instrumental in modifying the 1996 Olympic Three-Day Events in Atlanta to make them safer for horses competing in inhospitable southeastern summer heat conditions. Dr. Foreman also has studied extensively the responses of horses to various drugs used illegally to influence the outcome of races and horse shows. He currently studies the effects of single and multiple analgesics on horses at rest and during exercise.

Melanie, a dual Belgian-USA citizen completed in 2005 a degree in Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences University of Liege. Subsequently she completed an equine internship at the Royal veterinary College in London. During this internship she also passed the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE) licensing her to practice veterinary medicine in the US and Canada. Upon completion of her internship, she joined a private practice in Cheshire U.K where she worked for several years. In 2010 she opened her private practice in Belgium specialising in pre-purchase exams and orthopaedics for sport horses for local and cross Atlantic clients for horses in the EU.In  2015 she was asked to become one of the team veterinarian for the  Belgian equestrian team. In that capacity she has accompanied the team to multiple CSI and CDI events including the 2018 World equestrian games held in Tryon, 2020 Olympic Games held in Tokyo and the 2022 World equestrian games held in Herning.

Nathan is the Practice Principal and an Equine Veterinarian at WestVETS.

Nathan started his career in mixed practice in South Australia working with all animals, large and small. He then branched into Equine practice, working in the UK for some time before relocating to Anstead where he has been based since 2002.

Since then, Nathan has upgraded the facility at Anstead to a modern and state of the art hospital that provides complete service to family pets and horses. Nathan has also expanded the practice in 2012 to include another Animal Hospital and an Equine Reproduction Centre located on the Warrego Highway at Marburg.

Nathan’s main fields of interest and expertise are the diagnosis and treatment of lameness in performance horses and equine surgery. Nathan also has extensive experience in Equine Reproduction and he thrives on the hectic workload of the reproductive season.

In 2010 Nathan was accepted as a member of the Australian and NEW Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in the field of Equine Surgery. The College is a post graduate group that aims to advance the current level of veterinary knowledge and skill.

Nathan is a former president of Equine Veterinarians Australia and has held the position of Australian Eventing Team Veterinarian since 2013.

Nathan enjoys equestrian sports and is an accredited FEI Veterinarian. He can often be found officiating at equestrian events.
