Part of the Equine Computed Tomography (CT) Image Interpretation & Clinical Applications Online Lecture Series

CONTENT DESCRIPTION

In this module, two world-renowned and hand-picked speakers will discuss computed tomographic (CT) examination of the carpus.

This interactive module will begin with a review of the complex CT anatomy of the carpal region regarding both the bony and soft tissue structures, including how the various tissues will appear on CT images. Through case examples, when and why CT of the carpus may be beneficial and how it can be performed will be discussed and debated. Further, which regions to scan and which imaging modality to choose (CT versus MRI) depending upon the blocking pattern and clinical picture will be explored.
